Safari can't Open Any Websites - iOS 5.0.1
Device: A jailbroken iPhone with iOS v5.0.1
Safari goes online while the iDevice connects to a WEP WiFi network. The problems comes when connecting to another WPA2 WiFi network which is configured in NAT-to-NAT. The iDevice states it is in a connected state and is capable of start ping to websites via MobileTerminal without a fault.
Sorts of problems comes into play in a first round:
1. Does the Redsn0w jailbreak get a potential problems?
2. Does Safari not support WPA encryption?
3. Does iPhone not support NAT-to-NAT?
Spending a day, the problem is solved. The firewall in the router blocks all mobile-apps connections. ;-)
